Begins November 17 at 6 p.m. | No cost to eligible participants

Maybe you have a skill people already ask you for help with. An idea you keep coming back to. Or a business you’ve wanted to start but haven’t known where to begin.

Give that idea a chance.

Ascend Brevard’s Veterans Florida Launch Program will help you explore what’s possible and build a practical path forward. You’ll bring your own business idea and work through the questions that matter: Who would buy from you? What makes your offering valuable? What would it cost to operate? And what should you do next?

Build on the experience you already have

Military life develops skills that matter in business—solving problems, adapting to change, following through, and working toward a goal. This program helps you apply your experience while learning the business skills you need for your next chapter.

Across 11 sessions, you’ll work toward:

A stronger business idea: Understand your customers, test your assumptions, and refine what you offer.
A practical way forward: Explore marketing, costs, revenue, and funding options.
Connections that can help: Learn about business resources and work alongside others taking the same step.
A clear way to tell your story: Prepare to present your business and explain where you want to take it.

Bring your idea. You don’t need to have it all figured out.

Whether you’re exploring entrepreneurship or have already taken your first steps, this is an opportunity to ask questions, develop your idea, and make more informed decisions about your future.

Program details

First session: Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 6 p.m.
Commitment: An 11-session program meeting on Tuesdays
Holiday break: No sessions December 22 or December 29
Location: Center for Collaboration
Cost: No cost to eligible participants (Veterans, active duty nearing separation of service, and qualified spouses)

Available to eligible Florida veterans, servicemembers, National Guard and Reserve members, and military and veteran spouses. Eligibility verification applies.
